The South Suburban
Chamber of Commerce
is proud to serve not only
Oak Creek and Franklin, two of the
fastest developing cities in Wisconsin,
but also the surrounding south suburban
communities in Milwaukee County.
The Chamber serves the
Businesses and the Community.
Oak Creek and Franklin share a suburban and rural atmosphere, but they also share a common six mile border at S. 27th Street. The city officials from both Franklin and Oak Creek are working together, with input from the public, on the vision for the 27th Street corridor that includes a coordinated streetscaping design with mixed-use commercial and retail development at either end of the corridor and a residential village area in the middle.
Both cities also share convenient freeway access to Interstate I-94, I-43 and I-894. Franklin and Oak Creek are less than ten minutes from General Mitchell International Airport and the air service it provides to approximately 90 cities.
The Chamber is active in
promoting businesses.
We promote and assist with ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, and other celebrations. The Chamber offers networking opportunities through monthly Chamber in Action Breakfasts, monthly Marketing breakfasts, and most recently monthly ABLE South luncheons.
